New Holland is using Agritechnica 2025 in Hanover (9–15 November) to unveil a broad set of new machines and forward-looking ideas.

New Holland shows how the brand links heritage, engineering, and modern farming needs.

Il Trattore concept

The T5.120 ‘Il Trattore’ styling concept sits beside a restored Fiat 702, highlighting how New Holland continues Fiat’s legacy of agricultural design and development.

New Holland strengthens its identity by showing that New Holland builds on Fiat’s early work in tractor engineering.

New Holland positions the T5 line as the direct successor to the principles that defined the 702.

The company said the Il Trattore name reflects “the importance of streamlined technology that defines the general-purpose tractor”, tying practicality and design into a single machine. The concept illustrates how New Holland blends style and innovation into equipment that still meets core farm demands.

Based on the top model built at the Jesi plant, Il Trattore uses a green-and-red scheme inspired by the 702. The original tractor reshaped European agriculture after the First World War through its four-cylinder engine and load-bearing powertrain, easing labour pressure and increasing output.

T7 XD series

New Holland is adding a high-horsepower line-up with the new T7 XD series. These 350+ hp models aim at farmers and contractors who need a tractor that tackles heavy draft work, big-payload haulage, and combination front/rear implement jobs.

New Holland expands its high-hp capability to serve larger farms that need one tractor to handle varied work.

Richard Hollins, New Holland T7 global product manager, said:

“The T7 XD will extend the compact design, versatility, and excellent power-to-weight ratio characteristics of our T7 family into the high-horsepower segment.

“The new range will appeal to customers looking for that all-round capability, from heavy field work, demanding PTO or hydraulic tasks, to high-speed haulage; the T7 XD has the features that can deliver this.”

The T7.360 XD, T7.390 XD and T7.440 XD use a Stage V 8.7-litre Cursor 9 engine mounted on a structural sump, improving visibility and reducing vibration while keeping a narrow chassis for easy manoeuvring.

Roll-Belt upgrades and Nature’s Net Wrap

New Holland has strengthened its Roll-Belt 180 PLUS and 150 PLUS balers with tougher components, updated feeding systems, and better in-cab tech to help farmers raise throughput in short weather windows.

New Holland reinforces its baler line to give farmers predictable performance and reduced downtime.

Agritechnica also marks the European launch of Nature’s Net Wrap, a compostable bale wrap backed by CNH investment. Fully compatible with all New Holland balers, it supports farms that want to cut waste without losing productivity.

T4F.120F Auto Command

The T4F.120F Auto Command tractor makes its show debut and completes New Holland’s speciality fruit and vineyard range. The new model brings CVT, 50 km/h ECO travel, and 115 l/min CCLS hydraulics into a narrow-chassis format.

New Holland brings big-tractor precision to speciality farms by adding advanced transmission and hydraulic systems to compact models.

Marco Gerbi said:

“The new T4F Auto Command is packed with high-end specifications typically found on larger, more powerful models in the New Holland lineup; technology and features rarely seen on narrow tractors for vineyards and fruit farms.

“These new options elevate performance, comfort, and productivity and set a global standard in this segment.”

Factory-fit telematics and ergonomic controls mean speciality growers gain new accuracy, comfort, and oversight.

Hybrid telehandler prototype

New Holland is also showing a hybrid full-size telehandler that uses an electric drivetrain supported by a methane-fuelled F28 engine. This setup allows 7–9m lift heights and 4.2-tonne lift capacities without the limitations of battery-only machines.

New Holland blends electric and methane power to maintain lift performance while lowering emissions and extending run-time.

The telehandler can work electrically for four hours on medium-heavy tasks and six hours on light tasks. Under heavy load, the methane engine provides support and recharges the battery, and fast-charging adds more flexibility. On-farm renewable power can also feed the system.

W170D+ Forage Power and FR Forage Cruiser

New Holland is also presenting the W170D+ Forage Power wheel loader and the latest FR Forage Cruiser updates. Both target silage contractors who need machinery with strength, speed, and reliability across clamp and field work.

New Holland focuses this equipment range on the specific challenges faced by silage operators.

Gaston Le Chevalier said:

“For silage contractors, standard wheel loaders often struggle with speed on steep slopes, fuel autonomy during long working days, and drive comfort during farm-to-farm travel.

“The W170D+ Forage Power is built to address these challenges, with an operating weight of 16.4 tonnes, 1,300 Nm of engine torque, and 255 hp peak power. A 400-litre diesel tank ensures full-day fuel autonomy, while a top speed approaching 50 km/h – maintained via a fixed engine speed function – means efficient road travel.”

The machine also offers strong stability, effective cooling, and good operator comfort. The FR Forage Cruiser gains ForageCam, improved headers, and smoother crop flow to support contractors working against short harvest windows.
